The Fantom Doorstop was created to solve two issues; firstly, trip hazards. Unlike conventional door stops today, the Fantom Doorstop poses no trip hazard due to its innovative flush finish and non-protruding pin.
Secondly, we wanted to create a concealed finish, cost effective hold open device. With the striker plate fitted underneath the door, there is no unsightly hardware on display and all moving parts are hidden underneath the door.

Soft Medium Controlled Opening Strength, Hold Open Is Activeted (Figure A + B)
When the door is opened in a controlled fashion, the unique striker plate design will hold the pin in an activated position and keep the door in a firm hold opened position. From this hold open position, the door can be easily closed with minimal effort.
Hard/Fast Uncontrolled Opening Strength, Fantom Works As Door Stop Only (Figure C)
When the door is opened in a fast, uncontrolled fashion, the Crest Concepts Stop works only as a door stop. Hold open device will not activate. The pin will engage the back stop angle on the striker plate, preventing the door from passing over the Fantom Stop.
